📝 Match Summary
In a tense and tactical Subbuteo semi-final at the neutral Veltins-Arena, Chelsea secured a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Real Madrid to advance to the SSWN Golden League Final.
The first half was a masterclass in defensive flicking and positional control. Chelsea took the lead in the 38th minute when Cole Palmer executed a precise curved flick around the Real Madrid defense, placing the ball inside the far post past the keeper.
Real Madrid dominated possession in the second half, relentlessly probing Chelsea's defensive line. Their persistence paid off in the 72nd minute with a brilliant solo effort from Vinícius Júnior, who chipped the miniature ball into the roof of the net after a swift counter-flick.
With the scores level at 1–1 at the end of regulation time, the tie headed into extra time. The decisive moment came in the 108th minute: Enzo Fernández found a tight pocket of space at the edge of the shooting zone and delivered a powerful, lethal strike straight into the bottom corner, sending Chelsea through to the final!
