Stuttgart beat Rennes 1-0 with a 19th-minute goal from Fuehrich.

The match was fairly even and very fair; after the lead, the German team attempted to control the game, without taking any particular risks.

In the second half, Rennes pushed much harder, and Stuttgart goalkeeper Nübel took center stage, thwarting shots from Lepaul in the 59th minute, Rieder in the 80th minute, and Lepaul again in the 82nd minute, and saving the result with a prodigious save, deflecting Frankowsi's sure-fire shot from the edge of the penalty area over the crossbar in the 87th minute.

The other semifinal saw the same result, pitting hosts Atlético Madrid against Arsenal. After a disappointing 0-0 draw after regulation time, Havertz settled the score with a stunning volley early in extra time, sending his team into the final against their compatriots, Stuttgart.

The third-place match

will be played at the Riazor de La Coruña

and will see Atlético Madrid face off against Rennes.
