Good start for Tottenham and Milan!

In Group B, Spurs dominated Belgian side Union St. Gilloise with a late goal from the usual Brennan Johnson. Stuttgart and Girona both drew goalless.

At San Mamès in Bilbao, Milan beat Maccabi Haifa 3:2 with a fine brace from Leao. In the other Group G match, Brentford came from two goals down at the home of Spanish side Athletic Bilbao to finish in a 2:2 draw.
